![]() Quite lovely.įor the next one (#9) I’ve used a fanmade Skyfall poster and turned it into this precious looking front cover. I enlarged his poster to album art dimensions, added the 007 alias and some gold lettering. The first one of the trio above (#8) is based on a fan poster created by deviantArt user “ krallbaki“. And Daniel Craig’s icyblue eyes in an otherwise completely monochromatic image (#5, #7) is another subtle highlight.īut unlike my modest Skyfall cover series this time I wanted to add some variety. So I turned to the fan community, which was way more creative and came up with some remarkable pieces. Despite its fancy typeface I’ve used it for additional album texts on some of my customs (#4, #7 to #8) and it surprisingly worked. I also dig the white skull mask which looks really badass (#2, #5). I initially created a similar custom cover, but canned it once the official artwork was revealed.Ī thing I indeed liked about this campaign was the retro-esque Spectre font, which you can download for free on deviantArt. And the teal background created a nice contrast with Bond’s ghostly-white Tuxedo outfit (#1). At least Eon rediscovered their box of paints for a change (#3). Sure, we’ve got a really clever teaser poster (#4), but beside that the focus was entirely on 007, which is becoming a little boring by now. Multiple award-winning film composer Thomas Newman ( Skyfall, American Beauty, The Shawshank Redemption) returns to the James Bond franchise with his original score for Spectre, which includes the orchestral version of Sam Smith’s theme song Writing’s On The Wall. ![]() ![]() a true Bond score worthy to stand in the temple built by John Barry and David Arnold. "Complete with the spectacular and rich instrumental version of the vocal theme. that sound, if you use it at the right point in the movie then everyone remembers ‘Yes, we’re in a Bond movie.'" "This is honestly the best use of the Bond theme we’ve had in our movies. we were expecting epic brass, moody sweeping themes and a fairly ridiculous amount of percussion. ![]()
